Programs

The exhibition is intended to give all PSSA or MBFSC basic skills and competitive skaters an opportunity to perform a solo or duet routine. Skaters would typically contract private lessons with one of the coaching staff to help them prepare for this event. Private coaching practice times and lesson fees are coordinated directly between the coach and parent. Skaters pay the coach for the lesson and pay the rental counter for their ice time.

Coaches will work with the skater and parent to select an appropriate piece of music with timing restricted to US Figure Skating and Learn to Skate USA timing restrictions:
Snowplow Sam through Basic 1-6: 1 min (+/- 10 seconds)
Freeskate 1-6 or Duet: 1 min 30 seconds (+/- 10 seconds)
Advanced testers confirm time with their coach.

Music needs to be emailed to bjadams2@plymouth.edu, in MP3 format, by August 1.

Skaters who want to participate and create their own skating routine, are welcome to do so. You will need to prepare and cut music to the appropriate length in MP3 format and enjoy the fun of choreographing your own routine.
